Majority believes in a new government after the September elections

The survey conducted by Indikator Opinion in May shows that more than half (55 percent) believe the opposition will win the most votes, while 45 percent believe the government will retain power.

Among the most politically engaged, belief in a change of power is even stronger - two out of three believe the opposition will take power.

The survey was aimed at a random sample of 4,586 eligible Swedes over the age of 18. The response rate was 42 percent.
