The alarm came at 8:30 a.m., and an ambulance helicopter and emergency services personnel were sent to the accident scene on Route 310.
According to Ljusdals-Posten, it was a skidding accident in which the bus crossed to the wrong side of a curve, crashed and ran into a ditch, ending up on its side.
Four people were taken to hospital by ambulance, SOS Alarm told the newspaper. The extent of the injuries is unclear. The helicopter never had to be deployed.
It has been icy in parts of the region during the morning, police spokesman Jonas Olsson tells TT.
