The problems began shortly after 3 p.m. In the afternoon, just before 7 p.m., only a few people had not had their power restored. According to Vattenfall's forecast, the repair was expected to be complete and power fully restored by 9 p.m.
A major power outage affected just over 18,000 electricity customers in Solna and Sundbyberg north of Stockholm on Thursday, according to Vattenfall.
