The fire alarm was raised at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The fire service determined that it was a fully developed fire.
The fire spread through the entire building. The fire service has been working to prevent the fire from spreading further to the surrounding forest and land.
But the entire building, with 48,000 chickens inside, will burn down, says Mattias Östling, officer on duty at the rescue service.
The fire service will be at the scene during the evening and night.
There are no reports of injuries in the fire.
