Par after the first round, +1 after the second. Maja Stark has had mixed fortunes in her pursuit of a new U.S. Women's Open title.
Saturday's round showed clear improvement. A total of five birdies gave her a -3 for the day and a total of -2, which puts her in a tie for 11th place. The leaders are American Nelly Korda and Kim Sei-Young of South Korea, both at -6.
Anna Nordqvist and Ingrid Lindblad had a tougher day, finishing at +2 and +4, respectively.
