When the national ski team gathered in Torsby, the house purchase was fresh - so fresh that the couple does not even have access to the house yet.

It's very fun, exciting. It's located by the water in Falun, we felt pretty much immediately when we were there and looked that it was perfect.

The house cost 6.9 million kronor, according to Aftonbladet.

But the move will have to wait until after the season.

It will be in the spring. It's hard to make time for a big move during the season.

There is much evidence that the move home will also put an end to his elite career.

I haven't decided anything definitively. But I hope I feel satisfied and finished after this season. A World Championship in Falun and a World Cup finale in Ulricehamn, that should be a good way to end. But the important thing is that I don't feel finished now, I'm really motivated. If I hadn't felt that way, I could have stopped already now, then it wouldn't have gone well this winter anyway.

But even though the 32-year-old sees the end of her career, she is not clear about what she will do on the other side of skiing.

I've never had a job I've dreamed of, my dream job is skiing. It's hard, I'm going to retire from my dream job when I'm 33, so I have to think about what I'm going to do. But I try not to think about it too much, it would probably take some focus away from skiing if I were to go around thinking about it now. I think it will work out when the time comes.

Born: April 15, 1994 in Borlänge (32 years old).

Club: Falun-Borlänge SK.

Merits: Olympic gold in sprint relay 2026. Three World Championship golds in sprint relay (2019, 2021, 2025). Olympic silver in sprint and sprint relay 2022, Olympic bronze in relay 2022. World Championship bronze in sprint and relay 2023. Two overall victories in the Sprint Cup (2022, 2023).
