It was Swedish on both halves of the pitch when the Champions League final in handball was decided with an all-German meeting.

In Füchse Berlin, Max Darj is housed, and also the duo Jerry Tollbring and Valter Chrintz, who are both injured. On the other side stood Magdeburg and the Swedes Felix Claar, Albin Lagergren, Daniel Pettersson, Oscar Bergendahl and Isak Persson for the opposition.

It was the latter who could relatively easily emerge victorious from the battle after a win with 32-26 and take Magdeburg's third CL title. The last one came in 2023.

Middle player Felix Claar was strongly contributing to the title with his six goals.

A bronze match was also played in the Champions League on Sunday. The medal was snatched by French Nantes against Barcelona, who had the Swedes Jonathan Carlsbogård and Hampus Wanne on the pitch.
