The 45-story skyscraper in Madrid was evacuated this afternoon after an explosion at 5 p.m. that caused extensive smoke.
Several firefighters were sent to extinguish the flames on the building's 25th floor. The fire department told El País that the fire is now under control.
No one is reported to be seriously injured. However, two people are being treated for smoke inhalation, and a passerby is being treated for a panic attack. Four people are being kept isolated in a secure area inside the building, authorities said according to El País.
It is still unclear what caused the explosion.
