A "new old" Madonna album is on the way out. The 25 July will be released the long-discussed "Veronica Electronica" with previously unreleased tracks and remixes from the classic "Ray of light".
The project was planned as early as 1998 as an eight-track companion to "Ray of light" – pop queen's seventh studio album, which was released the same year – but was put on ice after the success of the original album, which sold over 16 million copies worldwide and won four Grammys.
Now, more than 25 years later, the time is considered ripe for a reissue, reports NME.
The album includes, among other things, previously unreleased remixes and club versions from producers such as Peter Rauhofer, William Orbit, Sasha, BT and Victor Calderone, as well as a previously unreleased recording of the song "Gone, Gone, Gone".
