A military operation to "liberate" the Strait of Hormuz in the ongoing Iran war is downright "unrealistic," says Macron during a visit to South Korea on Thursday.
He notes that operations require enormous preparations and involve direct threats from Iran's Revolutionary Guard.
In addition, Macron comments on statements from Trump, which he believes undermine the military alliance.
Trump "creates doubts about the US's commitments on a daily basis, which means that NATO is being eroded."
There is too much talk in all directions, according to Macron.
