San Jose is not a Stanley Cup playoff team, but the California club ended the season with a 6–1 victory over Winnipeg.

Celebrini was, as usual, one of the players behind the numbers.

The star had one goal and two assists - and made history. With 115 points (45 goals, 70 assists), he set a scoring record. The previous holder was club legend Joe Thornton, who recorded 114 points in the 2006–2007 season.

"He's a superstar," says teammate John Klingberg.

"We've all been talking about him all year - how good he is and what he can do. I'm not surprised anymore."
