Congo-Kinshasa President Felix Tshisekedi is ruling out the armed group M23 from participating in talks aimed at creating reconciliation in the country.

Tshisekedi says that a peace agreement in December is the appropriate way to deal with M23, and that there is a path for those who distance themselves from aggression to reintegrate into society.

Earlier in August, the leaders of Congo-Kinshasa and M23 announced that they had agreed on a roadmap for new peace talks.
