The spokesperson for the company that salvages Bayesian says that they still have some work left before the hunt is up out of the water. Among other things, water needs to be pumped out. During three days, the ship has slowly been hoisted the 50 meters up from the seabed.
Even today, much is unclear about what happened with Bayesian. Before the sinking, a storm had torn up, but the luxury yacht was close to land and should have withstood such weather. In less than a quarter, however, the ship was filled with water.
Seven people, including the British IT magnate Mike Lynch and his daughter, died in the accident that is still being investigated by Italian authorities. 15 people were rescued from the sinking yacht.
