It was on Tuesday that the police checked car companies and people with connections to criminal networks in several locations in Sweden.
"This seizure shows the ease with which criminals can move assets," says Patrick Ström, head of the investigation in Kungälv, in a press release.
When criminal networks get involved in businesses, competition becomes distorted, the police note.
"It ruins things for companies that are trying to do the right thing. If everyone doesn't play by the same rulebook, the criminal actors will always win because they have fewer rules to abide by," says Patrick Ström.
