Two people have been taken to hospital after a flat fire on Norra Fäladen in Lund. According to the police, a total of 16 people have been examined by ambulance personnel on site.
They were in adjacent flats and have been checked by ambulance paramedics, says Lina Friberg, press spokesperson for the police, to TT.
The two people who were in the flat, a woman in her 90s and a man in his 80s, are lightly injured, according to Region Skåne.
According to Sydsvenskan, the fire was discovered by a private individual who saw flames coming out of a window on the ground floor of a three-story building.
The rescue service reported at 6 pm that the fire is extinguished, writes the newspaper.
The police will file a report on gross negligence.
