After players raised the alarm about the Portuguese's behaviour, including saying they felt discriminated against, the Division 1 club conducted an external investigation and decided on Monday to fire Luis Pimenta, NTB writes.
On Tuesday, the club's board announced that it is making its seats available and calling for an extraordinary annual meeting.
When there was a storm surrounding Pimenta at BP, he admitted that he had used words like "balls" and "pussy", but said they were common words in the locker room.
"After a humble self-examination, I understand that the two expressions, which were used in English, take on a different meaning and a sexual connotation when translated into Swedish," he said in a press release.
