The German airline Lufthansa made a loss of 885 million euros in the first quarter, a deterioration compared to the loss of 734 million euros reported for the same period in 2024.
Despite the weak start to 2025, the company is sticking to its forecast for the full year and expects a strong booking situation for the summer half-year. The company also states that it has not seen any decreased interest in US travel following President Donald Trump's tariff games.
