Åberg started the competition in South Carolina brilliantly, leading after the first round. After a somewhat shakier game in the following days, he managed to climb to a share of fourth place on Sunday.
Åberg played solidly, with four birdies and a bogey heading into the final holes. Hole 16, however, proved difficult for the Swede, resulting in a double bogey.
Overall, Åberg finished at -13, sharing fourth place with Americans Collin Morikawa and Harris English.
