Ludvig Åberg climbed the rankings considerably after shooting a 5-under 60 in the second round of a PGA Tour event in California. However, the spotlight went to the leader, 18-year-old American Blades Brown, at 12-under par.

After the second round, the teenager is tied for first place with world number one Scottie Scheffler, also from the United States, at 17 under par with a total of 127.

For the Swedish players, there is still a long way to go to the very top. After the tour's opening round on Thursday, Ludvig Åberg was tied for 71st place with Alex Norén. When the second round was completed, Åberg had risen to 48th place, while Norén had dropped to 79th.
