"I think European players stand by our views and what is right for our sport. And if that means boycotting tournaments, then so be it," Bronze said, according to Reuters.
The European Football Association (Uefa) has announced that all member associations plan to boycott tournaments organised by the International Football Association Board (FIFA) until assurances are made that FIFA will not repeat anything similar to the plans to sell shares in, among other things, the World Cup to private investors.
"It's about the future of the sport. It's about all the little girls and boys who come after us, making sure they're in a good place as the sport evolves in the coming decades," Bronze says.
