The coach Luciano Spalletti has a tattoo with Napoli's club emblem. Now he takes over the helm in the rival Juventus, according to Italian Sky Sports.

Juventus chose on Monday to fire coach Igor Tudor after a short and turbulent stay in Turin. According to information from Italian Sky Sports, Luciano Spalletti is highly relevant as his replacement.

Spalletti, who most recently comes from the job as national team coach for Italy, has previously led Napoli to the league title in the 2022/23 season. It is precisely this league title that may make the new coach start uphill among Juventus supporters.

After the league victory with Napoli, he tattooed the club's emblem on his forearm - a detail that is likely to annoy parts of the black and white fan base.

The negotiations between Juventus, in eighth place in the Serie A table, and Spalletti are reported to be well advanced. Sky means that the parties are approaching an agreement and that an official presentation can take place as early as Thursday.

According to the same information, it is initially a contract that extends until the end of the season. If Juventus manages to secure a place in next year's Champions League, an automatic extension awaits.
