For much of the summer, there was speculation about a possible move for Bergvall. Among other things, it was reported that Nottingham Forest and Newcastle were interested in signing the Swedish talent.
However, no transfer materialised. Instead, a new message has now come from "Spurs".
Bergvall has chosen to extend his contract with the club. It is not yet known how long the new agreement will last, but his previous contract was valid until the summer of 2031.
"I think we are building something really good here. It is an exciting time for the club and that is why I am happy to extend my contract," Bergvall said in a statement on the club's website.
