In February, Amazon entered into a collaboration with OpenAI to expand OpenAI's use of Amazon's cloud service and develop customized AI models - an investment equivalent to SEK 480 billion by Amazon.
The film, starring Andrew Garfield as the controversial Sam Altman, is now being offered to other film studios.
"We have the utmost respect and admiration for Luca Guadagnino as an award-winning filmmaker. We believe that 'Artificial' would benefit from being released by another studio and are working closely with the film team to find a new home for the film," an Amazon spokesperson told the newspaper.
