The heat pump company Nibe reports an adjusted operating profit of 1.2 billion kronor for the second quarter. This is a decrease compared to the same period last year, when the profit amounted to 3.6 billion kronor.

Revenue decreased simultaneously from 23.5 billion kronor to 19.5 billion kronor.

The company writes in a comment that the first half of 2024 has been characterized by "large inventory reductions in the distribution channel, continued high interest rates and historically low property production", but that they expect a better second half.

The share surges by around 10 percent at the stock market opening.
