Inflation in Norway fell to 2.4 per cent in November, according to fresh figures from the statistics bureau SSB. This can be compared with 2.6 per cent in October.
Lower electricity prices explain the decline, but clothing prices also fell clearly in annual terms.
In Denmark, inflation in November remained unchanged at 1.6 per cent, the same level as in October. Core inflation, excluding energy and certain food prices, fell to 1.2 per cent from 1.5 per cent in October.
The figures come after the Statistics Bureau presented preliminary inflation figures for November last week, which showed that KPIF inflation rose to 1.9 per cent in Sweden in November, up from 1.5 per cent the month before.
Finland will present November inflation on Friday.
