The Swedish version of the dating reality show will premiere on March 12, Netflix writes in a press release.
Jessica Almenäs is back as host while a new group of singles steps into the social experiment, where couples get engaged to each other without having seen each other.
There has been a lot of interest in Netflix's international dating concept. The first two seasons of the Swedish version have been named the love reality show of the year two years running at the Kristallengalan, and the show has also attracted many international viewers.
The original American version of "Love Is Blind" premiered in 2020. Netflix has also made versions in Brazil, Germany, Argentina, Japan, the United Kingdom, Mexico, South Korea, as well as "Love Is Blind: Habibi" with participants from several Arab countries.
The program involves a group of singles dating each other for a limited period of time. During the dates, they sit in separate, isolated rooms, without the opportunity to see each other. If one participant proposes and the other says yes, they get to meet and see each other for the first time.
The couples then live together for five weeks to see if the relationship is strong enough for marriage.
