Louise Etzner Jakobsson Wins First European Championship Gold

After several silver and bronze medals, national team veteran Louise Etzner Jakobsson can celebrate a championship gold. The Swede and the horse Goldstrike took home the European Championship gold in para dressage in Ermelo, Netherlands, after receiving 72,917 percent for their performance in class grade IV.

The 65-year-old rider has previously during her career taken a silver (2021) and two bronze (2016) at the Olympic Games, as well as two silver and two bronze at the European Championship (2017, 2019).

Second at this year's European Championship was the Dane Pia Wulff Jelstrup (72,222 percent) and third was Nicola Naylor, Great Britain (71,389).
