The luxury brand Louis Vuitton in South Korea has been subjected to a cyberattack and hackers have gained access to customer data for the second time in a month.
Louis Vuitton's South Korean operations report that an "unauthorized third party" entered the company's system on June 8 and that some customer data has been leaked. However, the hackers are said not to have accessed credit card or bank information, according to a statement.
Louis Vuitton in South Korea states that they are now investigating the intrusion and that they have notified the relevant authorities about the incident.
Christian Dior Couture, the luxury conglomerate LVMH's second-largest fashion brand, announced in May this year that they had been subjected to a cyberattack and that hackers had obtained customer information.
