Actress Evangeline Lilly has brain damage, several U.S. media outlets report.

Last May, the star fainted on a beach in Hawaii and fell face-first onto a boulder, suffering a concussion. The 46-year-old has had fainting spells since childhood due to low blood sugar.

Lilly says the results of her latest brain scan show the long-term consequences of the accident.

“Almost every part of my brain is functioning at reduced capacity,” she says in a video on Instagram.

In the comments under the post, Lilly received support, including from Hollywood stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Alyssa Milano.

Lilly is known for her roles in the TV series "Lost" and the film series "The Hobbit." Her most recent film was "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," released in 2023.
