TV4 Football Channel refers to British Sky News, which reports that four people from the same family have been sentenced to prison for the burglary last year at Newcastle's and the national team's striker's home.

In a statement read out in court, he stated that he was not unaffected by the burglary:

The attack on my home has left a feeling of anxiety.

Alexander Isak was not at home when the thieves struck in April last year. They are said to have gotten away with a car, jewelry, and valuables worth nearly 900,000 kronor and cash between 65,000 and 130,000 kronor. The car was later found abandoned, according to the AFP news agency.

According to Sky News, the burglars were sentenced to prison terms ranging from six to ten years. They were also convicted of breaking into two other properties.

In connection with a national team gathering last year, Alexander Isak downplayed the incident.

It wasn't super dramatic. I wasn't at home, no one was at home. It was sad, of course. But those who did it got caught afterwards.

A large number of Premier League players have been exposed to burglaries, some violent. His national team teammates Robin Olsen and Victor Nilsson Lindelöf have both told about traumatic experiences that have affected them and their families.
