The British government announced last year that the pro-Palestinian activist group would be designated a terrorist organisation and banned, after several activists broke into an air base to protest British military support for Israel during the war in Gaza.
Palestine Action took the government to court, arguing a violation of freedom of expression - and the High Court, which is the court of first instance for more significant cases, ruled in its favour.
However, the ban and terrorist designation will remain in place until the ruling becomes final. The government says the ruling will be appealed.
