The French national team player joins the football club from Paris Saint-Germain for 1.4 million pounds, closer to 18 million kronor, and thus becomes a teammate with the Swedish trio Kosovare Asllani, Julia Roddar and Sofia Jakobsson. The London club is a newcomer to the English top division this season.
This is the third time the transfer record is raised just this summer, reports BBC.
The season begins on Friday evening with the meeting between the reigning champion team Chelsea and Manchester City.
