It was on Saturday that the 24-year-old artist suddenly collapsed during a performance at a festival in New York, writes the news agency AFP. Young was carried off the stage and film clips of the incident have been spread on social media.
Young has previously told about being diagnosed with so-called schizoaffektivt syndrome, which shares symptoms with both bipolar disease and schizophrenia.
”I really hope you give me a second chance when I have had some time to work with myself and come back stronger”, she adds and promises that those who bought tickets will get their money back.
Earlier in September, her third album was released and in October she was supposed to go on an extensive tour in Europe and North America. No performances were planned in Sweden.
