The comedy show "LOL: The One Who Laughs Last Laughs Best" on Amazon's streaming service Prime Video is coming back. But the fall edition gets a horror theme and is released on October 31, just in time for Halloween.
"LOL" has been broadcast in three seasons in Sweden with Eva Röse as the host. The game is about a number of comedians being locked in a room and trying to make the others laugh. The one who laughs twice is out – the last one standing wins.
In the Halloween special, eight comedians will compete in pairs, with the participants in the fall edition to be announced later.
"LOL has become one of our most beloved global formats and we are excited to give the program a playful and local twist with this special in Sweden", says Karin Lindström, Head of Originals for the Nordic countries and Poland at Amazon MGM Studios in a press release.
