Lockheed Martin order book jumps 38% as second-quarter profit beats forecasts

The value of Lockheed Martin's order book increased by 38 percent compared with a year earlier, to just over $230 billion (approximately SEK 2.24 trillion).

Second-quarter operating profit rose to $2.5 billion, up from $748 million in the same quarter last year. The average forecast among analysts was $2.3 billion, according to Bloomberg.

Net sales rose 11 percent to $20.1 billion, compared with an expected $19.3 billion.
