The parliamentary committee of inquiry will propose a kind of lobbyist register, according to Dagens Nyheter.
There, lobbyists will report contacts with the Riksdag and the government aimed at influencing issues under preparation, such as a bill. PR consultants will also account for whom they represent in their contacts with decision-makers.
The committee of inquiry, where all parties are included, also wants to see an annual financial report from the lobbyists on how much money lobby groups spend on influencing politics.
The committee of inquiry will present its proposals on May 8.
