A pistol has been found near a playground in Ögårdsparken in Malmö, reports the police on their website. The weapon was found by an adult person and was assessed on the spot to be live. The police have seized the pistol which will be sent for analysis.
It is a place where there are a lot of people, especially children at this playground, says Patric Fors, press spokesperson at the police.
A report of serious weapons crime will be drawn up by the police. There is no suspect in the case.
