Liverpool turned a 0–1 deficit from the first leg of the round of 16 against Galatasaray into a 4–1 victory and advanced to the Champions League quarter-finals.
One of the scorers was Mohamed Salah, who scored the final goal just after the hour mark. However, there will be no more games for the 33-year-old star in the near future.
He will miss Liverpool's match with Brighton on Saturday and will also miss Egypt's upcoming international matches.
"It's good for us because we're on an international break soon. The bad thing is for Egypt because he can't travel there," says Liverpool coach Arne Slot.
