Liverpool had begun to pick up momentum under new coach Andoni Iraola and went into Saturday's meeting with Fulham on the back of two straight wins, one in the Premier League and one in the Champions League.
However, against Fulham, the good run came to an end. Liverpool had to settle for a draw, which was the team's third dropped points in the opening four league matches.
Alexander Isak formed an attacking trio with new signings Victor Munoz and Bradley Barcola for the home team, but none of them managed to make an impact in attack.
Liverpool are sixth in the table, with Manchester City top.
Hugo Larsson was substituted for Fulham with just over a quarter of an hour left to play.
