Liverpool defendant changed his mind – admits

The 54-year-old man charged with the Liverpool attack this spring has changed his mind. He now admits to all 31 charges, as revealed in the trial that continued on Wednesday.

Previously, the man had denied the crime in all 31 cases, nine of which involved aggravated bodily harm.

Over 130 people were injured when a man drove his car into a crowd of people as Liverpool fans celebrated winning the Premier League title last spring.

The trial is expected to last three to four weeks.
