Swedish Championship gold, the national team - and now a move to England. BK Häcken sells Alice Bergström, 22, to Liverpool after two successful seasons.

Häcken has reached an agreement with Liverpool in the Women's Super League (WSL) regarding the sale of Alice Bergström. She is leaving Gothenburg after two years that were crowned with SM gold, Champions League appearances and selection for the Swedish senior team.

During her time at the club, Bergström played in several positions and scored 14 goals and 23 assists in 79 games.

This year she had ten assists and three goals in the Damallsvenskan and was nominated for Defender of the Year after a position change.

"It feels like it's happened in a second, like we just started and now it's over, and we're standing here with a Swedish Championship gold medal. 2025 has been the best year of my life, in every way, and we've had so much fun," Bergström says in a statement.

Häcken's football manager Martin Ericsson:

"Here we see an investment and a development that leads to results and a large sale. This is exactly how we want our model to work."
