"The Precious" is described as a psychological thriller in which a mysterious disappearance intertwines three generations of women and awakens deep-rooted traumas and secrets.
The series is based on Linn Ullmann's novel of the same name.
"A quality drama about love, family, guilt and reconciliation, with complex characters - a series that I hope will both touch and entertain," says director Mikael Marcimain in a press release.
"The Precious" will premiere in spring 2027.
