US President Donald Trump
Trump, who met Epstein in the 1980s, appears frequently in the documents. Trump maintains he did nothing wrong and has never been charged by law enforcement with Epstein-related crimes. Among the most recent documents is an FBI compilation of unverified allegations of sexual assault against Trump.
Former US President Bill Clinton
Bill Clinton is mentioned on the FBI's list of unverified allegations. Clinton hosted Epstein at the White House during his presidency, and they have previously been photographed together. He has stated that their relationship ended when Epstein's crimes became known. Bill and Hillary Clinton until recently refused to testify before Congress about the Epstein affair, but will now do so on February 25 and 26.
Billionaire Elon Musk
Musk has previously said he turned down an invitation to Epstein's Caribbean island. But in email correspondence, he appears to have tried to book a visit in 2012. "What day/night is the wildest party on your island?" he asks, among other things. It is not clear whether the trip took place. Musk says the correspondence could be misinterpreted.
Microsoft founder Bill Gates
In a draft of an email written by Epstein, Epstein claims, among other things, that Gates was involved in adultery and that Epstein "helped him" deal with the consequences of having sexual relations with Russian women. According to the Gates Foundation, the claims are false.
Princess Sofia
According to Expressen, Sofia was invited to a film screening at Epstein's in 2012, before she became a princess. According to the court, she did not attend. The court has previously stated that Princess Sofia and Epstein have not had contact for the past 20 years.
"We met at a restaurant in a social context where I was introduced and at a film screening together with many others," the princess said earlier in February.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway
The Crown Princess is mentioned hundreds of times in the documents, according to NRK. She is said to have borrowed Epstein's home in Florida with a friend for four days, among other things. The Norwegian court has previously confirmed that Mette-Marit met Epstein on several occasions during the period 2011-2013. A hard-pressed Crown Princess apologized in early February for her friendship with Epstein. Epstein was first convicted in 2008 for buying sex from a minor.
King Frederik of Denmark
He appears a few times in the files in 2012, including as a booked guest at a dinner that a business partner emailed Epstein about when Frederik was still Crown Prince. It is not clear whether Epstein himself would attend. The Danish court states that the king has never met Epstein.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor
The disgraced former British prince's association with Epstein is well-known. The new documents show that Andrew invited Epstein to Buckingham Palace in September 2010, when Epstein said they would need some "private" time as well.
Virgin mogul Richard Branson
The new files show that Branson and Epstein were on good terms. "You're always welcome when you're in the thick of it. As long as you bring your harem!" Branson wrote to Epstein in 2013. A Branson representative says they only met in groups and on business occasions.
US businessman Howard Lutnick
Email correspondence shows that Lutnick and a Trump administration official planned a lunch on Epstein's island in 2012.
The Epstein Files consist of 3.5 million documents, images and videos from the criminal investigation against Jeffrey Epstein.
