The counterpart Visita has said no to the demand that part-time employees should receive the same high compensation for overtime as full-time employees, and the negotiations have therefore stalled.
"What we are demanding is completely reasonable. Moreover, we have just agreed with SKR and Sobona on the same thing. So all part-time employees in Gothenburg City, Got Event, and the region have received the right to overtime compensation, but the employees at Liseberg should not get it? That we can never accept", says Malin Ragnegård, union chairman of Kommunal according to the press release.
Visita is positive about changing the current overtime rules, but adds that the total cost must follow the mark set by the industry agreement. This is something that Kommunal has not been willing to accept, writes Visita.
The notice applies to a complete work stoppage for all permanent employees within Kommunal's agreement area at the amusement park Liseberg. The notice also includes a recruitment and hiring blockade, as well as a blockade of extra and overtime work at the workplace, from the same time.
Visita hopes that mediation can resolve the knots.
