It is Lisa Larson's three children, Johanna Larson, Mattias Larson and Andreas Ribbung, who have created the exhibition, from three perspectives: the artist, the designer and Lisa Larson as a source of inspiration and collaborator.
The exhibition about the beloved ceramicist will be on display in Tokyo at Matsuya Ginza between September 25 and October 12. It will then travel to a number of museums around Japan, most recently to the Okayama Prefectural Museum of Art in August 2028.
This is Lisa Larson's fifth travelling exhibition in Japan.
"Although her work was in many respects typical of the time and place in which she was active, it has the ability to speak to people across generational and national boundaries," says Lisa Larson expert Love Jönsson in a press release.
