Aschan, who previously directed "The Monkey Girls" (2011), has written and directed the play "A Very Small Person" at the theatre this fall.
The autumn repertoire at Gothenburg City Theatre also includes Stig Larsson's "Vd", directed by Marcus Carlsson. It premieres on November 27 on the small stage. On the big stage, Maria Blom directs "Life Is Wonderful", which is based on Frank Capra's classic film "It's a Wonderful Life".
Last out this fall is "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf", directed by Anna Takanen.
At Backa Teater, Martina Montelius' play "Mira Walks Through the Rooms" is being performed, directed by Rasmus Lindgren.
