It was Porcelain Doll, Racing Fox, and Sushin who competed for the win in this year's "Masked Singer". The winner of the final was Lisa Ajax, who hid behind the Porcelain Doll.
The jury was unanimous that there was a singer behind the doll's face. However, only two of them managed to figure out that it was the previous "Idol" winner, although everyone was on the right track.
I didn't think they would be so sure it was me. But it was also very flattering since they said such nice things. You stand there behind the mask and smile, says Lisa Ajax to TT.
From the beginning of the competition, she saw Sushin as the biggest challengers.
The first time I met them, I thought it would be no win for me. So it felt pretty cool to knock them out.
"Fooled everyone"
The first to have to take off their mask in tonight's final was Sushin.
The clues led the panel astray, and despite four different guesses, none of them managed to get it right – and it was a visibly surprised jury that was greeted by Kishti Tomita when the mask came off.
You fooled us all, said Carina Berg, who guessed that Tina Nordström was hiding in the costume after clues that led to thoughts of Skåne and food.
Not even Måns Zelmerlöw, who started his career by singing for Kishti Tomita in "Idol", could guess who it was, and he praised her singing voice.
In the final duel, the majority of the jury members tipped for a win for Racing Fox – but it didn't turn out that way.
Instead, the fox mask came off, and behind it hid Peter Jöback, which three in the panel had managed to figure out based on both singing and dancing skills – despite Jöback struggling to conceal his talent.
I distorted my voice in the beginning and sang worse than I can, he says.
Sour faces
Despite a 26-year-old beating out two veterans in the entertainment industry, there were no sour faces.
They were just happy for my sake. You get so close to each other during the recording since everything is so secret and you're a bit isolated, says Lisa Ajax.
Among the jury members, it was Behrouz who took home the win in the fifth season of "Masked Singer" with four points. The worst went for Pernilla Wahlgren, who became point-less.
