During the fall, Linus Omark has kept the hockey pipes warm through shorter contracts in first Swiss Lugano and then parent club Övertorneå in Division 3.
But the rest of the season will be spent in the SHL and Luleå for the veteran, even though he decided that he was done playing for the Norbottensklubben club after this spring's Swedish Championship gold.
"It feels great that I still have the desire to play hockey at the highest level. And it will be really fun to meet the guys on the team again and spend time together on and off the ice," Omark tells Luleå's website .
Omark, who has scored 282 points in 392 games for Luleå (SHL and SM playoffs included), joins the team on Monday. Luleå is ninth in the table.
