Djurgården's hockey veteran Linus Klasen has injured his arm in a junior match. Now he has been operated on and will be out for three-four months.

He is not playing this year, says coach Robert Kimby to Hockeynews.

The 39-year-old forward was injured in the summer and missed all training matches before the season. Therefore, he played two junior matches with Djurgården to get ready for the SHL start.

Instead, he injured his arm in the match against Leksand so badly that he needed to be operated on. Now he is waiting for rehab for a longer period of time.

I do not know exactly how long, but three to four months it will be at least, says Kimby.

Not only the injury, Djurgården was reported to the disciplinary board because Klasen played in the J20 team. It is against the new rules.
