"I've said before that this has been one of the most fun times in my career, maybe the most fun ever. Just being home in Stockholm with friends and family, everyone going to the games, there's a hell of a lot of pressure and you have to carry the city on your shoulders a bit. You'll miss that," the 40-year-old tells the club's website.
Klasen joined Djurgården in the 2022–2023 season after a number of years in Switzerland. After three seasons in the Hockey Allsvenskan, he was instrumental when Djurgården returned to the SHL last spring with a victory against AIK in the Hockey Allsvenskan final.
